Founded as Stafford and Zoia in 1890 by J.J. Stafford, the local undertaker, and Antonio J. Zoia, who immigrated from Milano, Italy to America in 1881. By 1900 Antonio became the sole owner and had built a reputation for fine stoneworking.

Antonio married his wife Amelia and they had four children, Charles D., Clyde J., Eugene P., and Mary I. His sons would carry on and continue building a good name in the monument business.

Today the business is currently run by James A. Zoia, son of Eugene, and his son Anthony J. Zoia, representing the third and fourth generations.

Zoia Monument Company is proud of its family history and continues to provide caring and quality service for over 128 years.
